From a very humble beginning Veraval Patan Memon Anjuman has now converted to a formidable Jamat. A lot of people contributed to the developement of this organization to bring it to such a position.

On 16th June, 2002 elections of the Veraval Patan Memon Anjuman were held. As a result of consensus Mr. Muhammad Bashir Jumma Kukaswadia was selected President and Mr. M. Faisal Abubakar Khanani as Honorary General Secretary. A team of highly educated professionals, polished and mature people of the community has been formulated, which is trying its level best to institutionalise the proceedings of Anjuman emphasizing on modern management skills.

It is hoped that the whole community will participate in this noble cause and furnish the office bearers with their constructive criticism. More emphasis should be put on the bridging the communication gap so that more people could be accessed.

Veraval Patan Memon Anjuman has focused on providing following services to the community:

1. Shelter to poor people.
2. Carrier Counselling
3. Education Aid to deserving students
4. Marriage Aid to deserving families for marriage of their daughters
5. Medical Aid
6. Employment Aid
7. Ration Aid
8. Community Get-Togethers (for example Kutumb Qabila)

In order to make this community progress, we will have to sideline our personal differences and work with a new zeal and enthusiasm. This will not be done only by the office bearers but the whole community. The whole community should consider the betterment of community as one of its top most priorities because we can progress only through cooperation, coordination and support.
